Rules
1. No powerplaying or Godmoding. EVER. I don't care if someone gives you permission to, you can't. Don't know what they are?
Powerplaying-Taking control of someone else's character. For example, you play Sally, and are roleplaying with Lucy. In your post for Sally, you also write that Lucy frowned in response to whatever Sally said. That's powerplaying, kiddies, don't do it. It tends to sneak up on you in fights, so be really careful wording them. You want to put in things like, "attempted to tackle so & so" and always make sure to give the other person a chance to react.
Godmoding- Godmoding is basically when your character is invincible. Your character has to get weak and tired eventually. They can't always win. Also, if they just have one big long fight and get hurt a bunch, they can't go off and fight someone else. Unless they are very shallow cuts and there aren't a lot of them, you can't just launch into another fight.
2. Okay, fighting for positions. Here's the deal. You can''t just walk up to the alpha/leader/beta/trusted and say, "I CHALLENGE YOU!". It doesn't work like that. Since we are going to be fair, you have to talk to the person out of character and say, "Hey, I was wondering if my wolf (Bobby) could fight your wolf (the alpha, Rickie) for the alpha position." If they say, "Sure, but I want Rickie to be alpha still", you'll either have to work out a plot where Rickie loses but then becomes alpha again 'cause they all hate bobby (or something else involving Rickie getting his position back), or just have Rickie win. Fighting for ranks is a sticky situation, best to be avoided. But hey, if you wanna go for it, I'm not stopping you. You just have to talk to that other person first about it.
3. Be literate, guys. Hopefully I will never see chatspeak in the forums, but if it does appear there, the thread will be deleted and the roleplayer given a stern talking to.
4. You do not have to roleplay out acceptances, and you can start out in a pack. It is totally up to you. If you would like to roleplay out an acceptance, just make a thread by the sign and specify in the title that it is an acceptance thread. if you aren't in a pack when you join, I expect your first thread to be an acceptance thread.
5. Your character has to have some respect for those of a higher rank than them. They can't just be bad-mouthing them and stuff all the time when they are around. If you expect your character to stay in the pack or gang after disrespecting their leader or alpha, think again. Same goes for beta and trusted.
6. Be realistic. That one is simple enough.
7. Swearing is allowed, but don't do it TOO much.
8. Okay, guys, RELATIONSHIPS TAKE TIME. I don't care if it's a love, hate, trust, loyalty, friendship, or what, but it takes time. You can't decide you hate someone when you first meet them, and you aren't going to spill your darkest secrets to some stranger. Don't make them sudden, it's unrealistic. That's like asking your girlfriend/boyfriend to marry you after the first date. IF it is a flaw in your character's personality that they are too quick to trust, or hateful of everyone, then it's a different set of circumstances.
9. Keep mating and birthing in season, and PG-13. Nothing graphic, no suggestions, even.
10. NO TRESPASSING. Unless approved by the alpha/leader of the territory you are going to trespass into, don't do it. If you really want to RP with someone in another pack/gang, do it on the border territories.
11. No double posting
1. Okay, so what you gotta do with them is get them approved by the other people involved in it, AND me. Also, make it original. Don't copy someone else's plot idea, and don't take one from a book. If you do, I'll reject it right away. I'd like the plots to all keep the site flowing together, so please don't go off and have a plot involving two people and excluding a lot of others.
2. Now, for site wide plots, you send them to me first. If I accept them, then I introduce the idea to the rest of the site. if they like it, we do it. If not, then we don't. These also have to be original, and I will deny them if they aren't. They also have to be realistic, nothing magical.
1. No Jewelry. Sorry folks.
2. Size has to be realistic. I'd also like it if you didn't spend hours bragging about how huge they are. You also can't declare your wolf the tallest or biggest, and they have to have a reasonable size all around.
3. No wings, no odd fur colors, no odd eye colors. My big rule for appearance is that you have to be able to find a picture of your wolf that isn't drawn. You can do minimal edits, such as eye color or a scar, but the eye color has to be one of the ones that is allowed. You can have a drawn one, but only if you have a real one too.
Eye colors allowed- Yellow, green, gray, brown, blue, or a mix of two or more of those.
Pelt colors allowed- Black, Brown, Gray, White, or various shades of those.
4. It seems like they are all handsome or gorgeous sometimes. Mix it up! Have an ugly wolf every once and a while, or even just an average simple looking wolf. They don't have to be horribly disfigured, just not amazingly beautiful.
1. Respect everyone on the site, not just the admin.
2. Try not to get into an argument. If you do, take it out of the c-box and into messaging. We don't want to hear it. If you continue to argue after asked by an admin to stop, the c-box will be gone.
3. No chatspeak. Brb, lol, omg(or some variation of it), and g2g are allowed. Anything else, as in, "i <3 u ur gr8t" is not allowed.
4. Swearing is allowed, but don't do it TOO much. Same as before, actually.
5. No planned relationships allowed. Threads asking for a mate or friend or something along the lines of that will be deleted.
6. On that note, you CAN put up adoptables for relatives and/or past friends/lovers. That is perfectly legitimate.
7. No moving avatars or postscripts, Please. You can change the font color if you wish. Also, please bold dialogue.
8. This one is important. NO ADVERTISING FOR OTHER SITES. I don't want you stealing members on here folks, so no advertising. Not on the c-box, not in threads, no nothin'.
9. No double posting.
