Long ago, in the World of Asteria, the creator Titans, Chronos and Tethys, had two children. Ehlana, the eldest, who takes the form of a golden winged horse proved to be a kind and gentle goddess. She thought of mortal beings first and how best she could help them. Her brother, Teiren, showed early to be a power-seeker. Teiren loved Teiren a lot. Whatever best benefitted him was what he choose to do, even if a thousand mortals had to die for his pleasure. Wise Chronos and gentle Tethys watched their children and how they treated mortals. After a time, Ehlana was named as their Heir for when they left to touch other worlds. Teiren was furious, because he was the best choice, naturally.

He incited Chaos and War to keep his parents and sister busy while he schemed and plotted. He found an area of Asteria that was not inhabited by anything but rabbits, squirrels and deer. He found a set of curious caves within a forest. He conducted experiments with his own blood, and that of sacrifices, to create a race of demons. He soon found that demons created in the cavern could only use their magic within the cavern and those created outside of it could only use their magic outside. So, he created a vast array of demons, both in and out of the Caverns. The most powerful he created outside so that they could be of more use to him.

Finally, with his plans in order, he lured his parents into the Caverns. He then took them prisoner because their magic was voided within the Caverns. He wanted the power that his sister had, that only the Titans could give. They refused his demands and finally he killed Tethys, believing that if he did, Chronos would give in. But, faced with the death of his wife, Chronos was more resolute not to give him power. Teiren’s attention then turned to his sister. He attempted to lure her out with threats to her father.

Ehlana did not immediately go to him, but instead went to her High Priestess Latona, in the elven city of Silvannas. Together that worked out a plan that would void Teiren’s power and stop him from causing farther damage to the world. The devised a golden bridle imbued with great magical powers. They went to Teiren and boasted that they had devised something that he could not escape from. Being the prideful being that he was, he accepted the challenge. As soon as the bridle touched his face, his power was sucked out of him. Latona took the now powerless foal to Raccal Swamp where he would be held forever, or at least that was the hope. The god of Chaos would never grow bigger then a foal with the bridle on. Ehlana then went to battle the demons of her brother. She killed a good many, but the survivors scattered to the winds, including the strongest demons. An’dori, Teiren’s second-in-command, swore revenge on Ehlana and all she cared about.

Centuries later, the land was given over to a young mare named Azura. Ehlana set her up as Queen so that there would be a force of good standing in the way of a wave of events set in motion by An’dori to free his Lord. After two years, four mysterious strangers appeared in Wydra Valley. Outwardly, they looked like most of the fantastic equines that came to Elysium. But the horses that fate had chosen to greet these four were suspicious. They knew something was not quite right about them. What they failed to realize that they were demons bent on freeing Teiren and bring about an Age of utter chaos, death and destruction.

Will the horses of Elysium be able to stand against this threat? If they crush these demons, will they be able to stand against An’dori if he finds his way to Elysium’s doorstep?
