Welcome to the City of Nightwalkers

The Legend of Red Rose
Long ago, Red Rose was once called Sandhaven,
due to the fact that desert surrounds it.
It's name changed to Red Rose after
mortals began to inhabit Red Rose. The name
came from the church. The first two graves to
be dug in Red Rose after mortals came to live
there was the reason it's name changed. The
night after two mortals were buried, the Father
from the church came running into the square (now
the park in the center of the city), screaming
about a curse. When the villagers came to see
what the old man was talking about, they were
shocked. On the gravestone of a whore, who had
died in childbirth, was blood spatter and a single
red rose. On the other grave, the grave of the
whore's child, was an entire bouquet of white roses
and a white feather sitting on the gravestone.
Because of the whore's grave, the townspeople
renamed the ever growing village Red Rose. And
ever since that time, every time a sinner died,
there would be blood spatter and a single red
rose to show they had died a sinner. On the other
hand, when a person died as an innocent, there would
be an entire bouquet of white roses and a single
feather, to show that the gates of heaven had opened
to them.

Vampire Myths

WAYS TO KILL THEM: It is very difficult to kill a VAMPIRE, but not impossible. Here are the only ways my VAMPIRES can be killed:
FIRE: A VAMPIRE’S body is highly sensitive to high temperatures. A VAMPIRE who has lived a couple hundred years (299- years) has a slim to none chance of surviving. A VAMPIRE who has lived for a few hundred years (300+ years) medium to slim chance of surviving. A VAMPIRE who has lived for 500+ years has a high to medium chance at survival. At 1000 years or more, a VAMPIRE has a chance of a 1st to 2nd degree burn, but that’s about it. So, basically, the older the VAMPIRE, the more chance of survival they have. The younger the VAMPIRE, or FLEDGLING, the less chance they have at survival.
DECAPITATION: Okay…one thing to keep in mind…when I say decapitation, I mean CLEAN OFF!!! Don’t be dumb about the subject either. If you cut off a VAMPIRE’S arm, they can still live. All they have to do is get the severed end close to their body and it will mend itself back to the body. If you cut off their leg? Same thing. To kill a VAMPIRE this way, you have to cut their head off and KEEP IT AWAY FROM THE BODY!!! Because if you are unsuccessful in that feat, they can do the same with their head. If you can keep it away from the body for a good solid minute, the VAMPIRE will die. Their body is like a chicken’s in a sense. The body will go after the head, but it lacks the speed because the brain is no longer sending signals to it. It does have sensing abilities, though, so you have to keep walking away from the body until it finally drops dead.
SUNLIGHT: This is a no shit subject. Like I said in the fire section. The older, the more chance of survival, & the younger, the less chance of survival. That’s because their bodies are so sensitive to high temperatures. But a VAMPIRE that is 1000 years or more can take thousands of years to die. The younger one’s can take between minutes to hours to finally disintegrate.
DRAINING BLOOD: Another way to kill a VAMPIRE is to drain 99% of their blood. However, the only way to do this is to stake them through the heart, and cause other wounds all over the body. BUT you won’t be able to kill a VAMPIRE this way if they are well over 200 years old, since their skin “hardens” the longer they live.
WAYS YOU CAN’T KILL THEM: These are the top ten myths about VAMPIRES. There are the ways you can’t kill them, plus other things you CAN NOT do to repel them:
VAMPIRES SLEEP IN COFFINS: This myth originated from the stories where VAMPIRES emerge from coffins or crypts. The truth to this one is that VAMPIRES will sleep wherever they feel comfortable and safest.
GARLIC REPELS VAMPIRES: YEAH RIGHT!!! All of a VAMPIRE’S senses are sensitive! If they smell something like garlic, or even onions, it will smell stronger to them than it will to a mortal!! While it may deter them for a few seconds, once they accustom to the smell, it won’t bother them anymore.
CROSSES REPEL VAMPIRES: This myth originates from the Christian religion. It tells you that if you hold a cross to a VAMPIRE, they will run away, or if they touch a cross, it will burn them. HA!!! That’s a good one. Truth be told, crosses don’t bother VAMPIRES and many actually prefer to wear one. Sometimes the one’s who don’t aren’t afraid to wear them, they just don’t believe they deserve the mercy of Jesus Christ.
STAKE THROUGH THE HEART: PUH-LEASE!!!! That one also came from the Christian religion. A VAMPIRE’S blood is not only circulated by their heart, but also by their skeletal muscles!! They will bleed profusely, but the only way to kill them this way is if you can successfully drain 99% of their blood, and that requires wounding them more than just a stake through the heart.
BURSTING INTO FLAMES WHEN EXPOSED TO SUNLIGHT: Okay…here’s the deal. They won’t burst into flames. But they will start to disintegrate. I explained the whole sunlight thing up top.
HOLY WATER: This myth also started in the Christian religion. According to this myth, if a VAMPIRE comes in contact with Holy Water, they burn. Truth be told, it won’t hurt them at all. It’s just water.
VAMPIRES PREY ON VIRGINAL WOMEN: Kinda…but not really. This myth originated in the Victorian era. The truth about this one is that VAMPIRES, despite being picky, don’t give a rat’s ass about how old a person is. Blood to them, is blood. It’s sustenance for them, so it doesn’t matter one way or the other. It also doesn’t matter what gender their prey is.
FLYING: VAMPIRES have been known to leap very high, but they certainly cannot fly!! It only seems that way.
VAMPIRES TURNING INTO BATS: This source of this myth is the association of VAMPIRES with bats. However, they cannot transform into bats.
NO REFLECTION: Another source from the Christian religion. The Christian religion says that any creature lacking a soul would not be able to produce a reflection. This is DEFINITELY not true. VAMPIRES can see their reflection. How do you think they make themselves look so pretty?
