History

Life on earth stopped going so well. The world was polluted. It was ending. But then, we got the breakthrough in science we’ve all been waiting for.

So we moved to the sky. Yes, the blue place that is always hang above out heads. We came up with ways to get out cities to float. To get rid of all the stuff that was polluting the earth. Even how to grow food. We made flying cars, and so on. So we left the earth below, and let it rest. We took down all out buildings and roads, and started off the wildlife for growing back. Taking back the earth.

We even then managed to find a safe way to bio-engineer crossbreeds with humans and other species. More than half of the population in the sky is not entirely human, have wings, or some other trait taken from animal. But, scientists developed away to always end up with them with human intelligence.

We have lived in the sky for 100 thousand years. No wars, in the sky. Not much crime at all.

But of course, it couldn’t stay that way forever.

We started to move back to the earth. We’d gotten rid of populations problems, and we really only needed it for oxygen and the gravity to anchor us. We went back out of curiosity. About how much it had changed without us.

We had changed a bit. Human race became more life the elves in certain old stories. Fast, smart, and powerful. And I mean powerful in a weird. way.

We weren’t the human’s we had always been. We developed strange powers, over time.

We had control over the wind with out minds.

Weird, but true. We changed. We became much more resistant to large amounts of sunlight, living in the sky. We also didn’t need as much oxygen. We could breath fine way up in the clouds now, no problem. But, over the course of many thousands of years. And we wondered how the earth had changed beneath us.

So, groups of scientists left the cities in the sky, which are called Clouds. And, we found something on the earth.

They had been there all along. They were way older than mankind, but had left them alone when they had taken over the earth. And when they had moved away, the reclaimed it.

You would probably call them dragons.

With the discovery of the dragons, everything fell apart.

There are groups of people who stayed on the earth. They didn’t live mike cavemen, but lived in stone castles and such, mostly in isolated communities. They fight with swords, and bow and arrows, and are not pleased about the people from the sky coming to the earth. The ground people had not evolved as much as them.

The ground folk had known about the dragons for ages. But it was only with the technology the sky people brought were they finally tame a mother dragon. Tame meaning, you are allowed to come, take an egg, ad leave. If she likes you. Most dragons were wild and untamable.

They were intelligent. They could speak with their minds, to each other, and with a human if they liked them. They were alive in medieval times, but left once technology got better. Left, meaning took to being invisible (which all dragons can hold for about twenty seconds) and living deep in wilder land.

When the technology came back, they took a great disliking to technology. They started to attack Clouds. But, with a tame mother dragons, some humans could get a hold of dragon eggs. A dragon hatched to a human would bond with that human.

Some humans took their dragons and raised them as just friends. Some trained to guard cities. And some trained that different dragons, with their different elements, for destroying the world. Your basic evil people.
