Starbase Leicester has had several meetings each and every month for the last five years and hopes to do so for many more. Our members have many interests, so because of this, our events schedule has a broad spectrum of different activities and ideas. Please remember to Bookmark this page, because we try to keep this area as up-to-date as possible. | |

Regular meetings: 3rd Friday of every month at 7pm in the The Barley Mow on Granby Street. Anyone is welcome to pop in, say "Hi" and join in the fun. Members Only: Special Events for our loyal members. Only full members and invited guests allowed to these meetings. Extra Events: We're not the only ones in Leicester that are into Science Fiction or Fantasy. So we try to also list non-SBL events and activities in Leicester and beyond. If you have any ideas for events or activities, we'd love to hear from you in our Forums too. A list of our previous events can be found here. |

| March 19th At Phoenix Games 51 Church Gate from 7pm | Boardgame Night Bring your favourite boardgame and introduce everyone else to the fun you had as a kid. |
| March 27th in The Secular Hall from 7pm | Retro Console Night Your mission: Bring and play Retro games from the past. All games are to be from before 2005. can we still have fun? You bet! |
| April 16th in The Barley Mow from 7pm | Comicbook Heroes/Villains Night Who is your favourite comicbook Hero/Villain? Will they make it onto Star Base Leicester's Top 5? |
| April 25th in The Phoenix Square from 1pm | Phoenix Square Film event The Phoenix films event has returned, but this time we'll be showing a double bill of films in the new Phoenix Square. This year's films will be Goonies and Dark City. |
| May 21st in The Barley Mow from 7pm | Quiz Night This month we have two Quizmasters so twice the fun! (twice the challenge?) |
| May 29th in The Secular Hall from 7pm | Star Trek Night Star Base Leicester's favourite Star Trek episodes screened on our big 5ft screen! as voted for by members. |
| June 18th in Barley Mow from 7pm | Experimental Night A chance for one of our members to try hosting an event for the rest of us. Details to be confirmed. (shhhh we may just have a special visitor planned) |

Yorkshire 3 Peaks Sponsored Walk
Last year we attempted to conquer the Yorkshire 3 Peaks. Only one of our team (Rebecca) managed all 3 peaks. This year, we're having another crack at this mammoth trek, that originally pushed everyone to and past their limits. We know what we're up against now though, so expect more training sessions and tips. |
