The Plot
So; Things at the Xavier Institute are just starting to return to normal. If you consider a school for mutants even remotely normal. After the Sentinel attack two years ago, things got bad. Real bad. The mansion was destroyed, and even one of our own changed allegiances for no apparent reason and started to hunt the X-men down one by one. He hasn't been around much lately, but we know he's out there.
But even with the Sentinel production delayed, there's still plenty for us to worry about. The Brotherhood of Mutants is starting to regain a foothold in Bayville. And boy, do they mean business. Who knows how long it'll be before it's once again unsafe to walk the streets at night.
They're rebuilding.
The student population was, well, decimated by the Sentinel attack. Between those that died, and those that decided that the Xavier Institute wasn't a safe place to be anymore and left, there wasn't really anyone around for awhile.
But things are definitely starting to take a turn for the better. Some of the students are returning. Not all of them, of course, but the Mansion isn't quite as silent as it once was.
So I guess I'm just hoping that you'll return too. Or If you've never been to Xavier's School for the Gifted, that you'll consider joining.
