Basic

1. Users that remain inactive for 30 days will be removed. Even if you have no muse, sign in or you will run the risk of being deleted. The only way you can avoid this is telling us you are leaving.

2. Do not bug staff to change your element or give you one. It is all solely based on luck. Even the creators of the site got theirs by pure luck. We will not change it. It is meant for you to adapt to.

3. Godmoding is not allowed. You don't look like a God to me, anyway.

4. Powerplaying is not allowed. You cannot control another person's character.

Characters

1. Characters can be of any species that is found in the savanna or the forest. Characters may not be from the sea, mountains, or anywhere else. If you are not sure, see the “creatures” link.

2. Characters, including ordinaries, can have odd colors for their fur/eye color if they want.

3. The character you make when you first sign up will be your "Default" character. You can have up to three. Your "default" character counts as one of these three.

4. When signing up, please don't say something like “Fox.” I need a species. Red fox. Something.

5. Be creative with names. Any such as "Bob," "Sarah," and so forth will be declined.

6. You don't have to add the history of your character to their profile. If you want, that can be role played out. (Thank Mandy for that.)

Posting

1. Anything less than 100 words is unacceptable. This includes the role-play example when you sign up. After two warnings for not doing this, you will be booted. If you don't have a word counter, you can use this one for your sample role play post.

2. Do not post pictures that have nothing to do with the role play post. Any posts seen doing this will automatically be deleted.

3. Please post in third person unless it is a character's thoughts.

4. No “Post Coming Soon” posts. These will be automatically deleted. We don't need to know it's coming soon. We want to see the post.

5. Posting more than three times or posting the same thing twice will be considered spamming.

6. Please, no wolf lingo. We don't need to hear about “orbs” or “tassels.” They're troublesome, you sound like a n00b, and it's not how a published author writes. It's how amateurs write.

7. Use proper grammar and spell check. Having a few errors is human nature. Your whole post being littered with them is illiteracy.
+ Quotes (“ ”) are used when a character speaks vocally. (i.e. She said, “Hi mister.”) Like that.
+ Apostrophes ( ' ) are used to say it is (it's), to talk about someone saying something while in speech (“She said, 'It's a nice day.'”), and using contractions. (Don't, shouldn't, can't, et cetera.)
+ Thoughts should be in italics.
+ Changing font colors is not going to show someone your character is speaking. Use quotation marks.
+ You do not need to underline anything other than book titles.
+ To emphasize a word, use italics. Do not make it CAPS because that is what amateurs do.
+ Strike through is not needed in IC.
+ Don't post a massive chunk of words. Paragraphs were invented for a reason.
+ Please use three periods(...) and not just two(..).
+ You're is you are. Your shows possession. “It is your house.” “You're crazy.”

It's okay to make this mistake once in a while, but not all the time. Sometimes we don't notice we do it. If you don't know the difference and still don't, however, this is not the site for you.

Breeding/Birthing

1. Force breeding is some sick, twisted thing humans created. Animals do not rape each other. They mate to survive.

2. One mate per character at a time. If your mate parts ways with you or dies, then you may obtain a new mate.

3. Only breed in the mating boards for the savanna, forest, or neutral lands.

4. Females may only produce 4 offspring at one time.

5. If your characters breed, you are in control of the number, gender, color, et cetera, of the offspring. However, you are not able to choose an element for them, or if they even have one. Please keep this to a maximum of 4 so that the population won't go overboard.

6. Another user's character must be your mate. Your own characters should not be mates, because then things will be too perfect.

7. Breeding seasons are Fall and Winter. Birthing seasons are Spring and Summer.

Groups

1. The "Groups" are packs, clans, prides, herds, et cetera, formed by canines, lions, such things as that.

2. There will be no more than 3 of each of these kinds. Some will be defaults. (Meaning they were created when the site was.)

3. Only males can create/claim a group. On top of that, they must be an adult. (2 years+)

Mature Content

1. Strong language is allowed, but don't use it excessively. If you character goes around yelling, “Fuck the fucking fuckers!” you will be warned.

2. If you're going to graphically mate, put a warning in the thread title such as [m], , [R], something. Otherwise Resvora will go missing from a seizure caused by it.

3. Graphic violence, such as the ripping out of throats, should have a warning in the title.

4. Other things you feel need a warning in it should, too. This includes OOC posts. I can't be sure how old the people joining are, so if you don't warn in the title and they see it, it's your fault. They can report any posts that do not have a warning.

In Character

1. Characters will age.

2. Your character is not all powerful.

3. Your character will die.

4. If you are challenged, you must fight. It can be over a pack, mates, or pups. This technically means these things can be “stolen.”

Out Of Character

1. Post in the correct board. It is highly annoying when you post in the wrong place.

2. Be respectful. Don't harass anyone at all, because if staff is notified, action will be taken.

3. Chatspeak is not allowed. Lol, brb, rofl, and gtg are the only exceptions to this rule. Any others, and Resvora will slap you with a slimy fish.

4. L33t is not allowed either. Don't know what l33t is? Lucky you. |>1z 1z l337. >>
