A man or woman skilled in, what else, archery and who can be potentially lethal with a bow and arrow. Many of this profession work for the crown, often guarding Aenor's grand castles, but freelance archers are not unheard of.
The creative of Aenor. Artisans can be actors, singers, dancers, musicians, writers; anything regarding the arts. Although it is rare to find a very rich artisan, there is great potential to make a pretty penny in this career, especially if you're good enough to work or play for the nobility or royalty. However, most artisans, no matter their skill, are simple street performers.
The truly stealthy of Aenor. Assassins are a bit tricky because they often change loyalties to whoever can pay the most. Assassins can work for the crown or the resistance, but most often they are self-employed, so to speak, and tend to live under false names working second jobs during the day so as to keep their profession hidden.
Most the population of Aenor is your common citizen, because the title includes all working class jobs. The citizens are also considered as the average peasant, because no citizen is rich enough, in this day and age, to have much more comfort then a home and food; and sometimes not even that. The citizens are the ones caught between the comfort of stability they find in the hierarchy and nobility, and the chance at societal freedom promised by the resistance.
The wealthy of the wealthy. There are three Dukes, each one in charge of a single province in Aenor, and they are the next in power after the King himself. Most often, Dukes rule the provinces, but there have been a few recorded Duchesses. These Dukes are extremely wealthy, and unless directly contradicted by the King, their word is law. (If you wish to be a ruling Duchess, your application must be excellent and you must have a good reason as to why. - Wives (or husbands) of ruling Dukes cannot be applied for unless one is found in adoptables.)
Enchanters are very skilled magicians and possess a distinctly different magic then mages. Enchanters are masters of high magic, usually tricks involving the mind like minor illusions or telepathy. Their gift comes naturally and rarely, so there are only a handful of enchanters in Aenor. The King has recently decreed that all enchanters must become the King's enchanters, and most have obliged, but there are few left undiscovered...
The warriors and soldiers of Aenor. Knights are men, and maybe some women, that have dedicated their lives to training their bodies, minds, souls, and skills. All official knights are trained under the government's guide, but it is not uncommon that a knight should stray and freelance. Knights are generally the best swordsmen and lethal opponents in battle.
Mage is a general term for all those who practice magic in Aenor. Unlike enchanters, mages practice earthly magic and tend to only train themselves in one, specific element. However, the more excelled and schooled mages may sometimes exhibit control over two or more elements.
The merchants of Aenor are generally something of oddity in that this class, above all others, is the one with the most people living middle class. It is fairly uncommon to find a merchant that lives in the slums with the peasants, just as it is equally uncommon to find a merchant rubbing elbows with the rich. Rather, most merchants live comfortable, but not extravagant, lives with moderate incomes.
The wealthy and extravagant of Aenor. Most of the nobles are families of old money, as it has become increasingly hard to break free from the underclass and work your way up to wealthy. As well, the noble's lifestyles have becoming increasingly more lavish. To be fair, most nobles are quite unaware of the struggles that face the poor, and definitely could not be expected to give away all their money in sympathy, but the needless extravagance of the noble lifestyle is the main cause of the unrest boiling from the poor in the rest of the country.
Pretty self-explanatory, the thieves are your basic criminals making their income by taking from others. A thief's skills range greatly, however. Most thieves are your common pickpockets, but there are a few that are brave enough to actually break and enter other's homes or specialize, like focusing only on robbing people of jewels. These thieves are often the richest in profit, but they have an exponentially higher rate of being caught.
This man is the mastermind behind the whole resistance. He is responsible for all the planning and execution of the resistance's movements. He works out of the resistance's headquarters and only those he works personally with really know his face. Otherwise, the resistance member's must just trust his word passed down through the organization.
The next in power after the leader. There are two resistance second-in-commands, and they do most of the brunt work in terms of leadership. In the absence of the resistance leader, either of these two takes full command and their word must be obeyed. Even if the resistance leader is in commission, the second-in-commands must be listened to unless their commands directly oppose one given by the leader himself.
Resistance members come in all shapes and sizes. Most of the members are common citizens or working class men and women, whose passion has driven them towards the resistance. They lead ordinary lives outside their participation in the organization, but are the body and heart behind all missions done by the resistance.
