... er, not quite, at least.
Cepheus is, unlike most other Weyrs, located on the Southern Continent. You won't be living in stony caverns anymore-- this is the South! Here we spend the days under the sweltering sun and the nights ... under the sweltering sun. But it's all about the views! The sun, the sand, the surf... the diseased dragons running a rampage about the place... ahem.
We classify ourselves as loose canon; that is, only the five normal colours, adherence to the general lifestyle on Pern shown in the books, and whatnot, but with enough flexibility in place to let you play the character you want. We are not a so-called "advanced" website; anyone and everyone are welcome to join in. There's no such thing as "posting minimums" or even a long ruleset. You just have to come on in, make a larger-than-life character, and enjoy yourself.

An extra note: Internet Explorer users may not see a very nice version of this public layout. Unfortunately the only way to fix it involves more work than Tanuki is willing to put in at the moment, so you'll have to put up with it for now.
