Common Sense
Use common sense, don't power play, god mode, respect the admins, use proper capitals and spelling. Remember; "Grammar Is Your Friend!"
Don't Spam
Don't spam the boards for no reason, it just means that the admins have to go behind you and do a lot of cleaning up of the boards.
PG-13
Yes, we are a PG-13 site. If you don't like it, go somewhere else. We won't tolerate RPed sex, excessive violence, excessive swearing (especially not in OOC), no nudity in postscripts, pictures or posts.
Honest
Be true to your house. Slytherin's are not pansys. Gryffindor's are not spiteful creatures trying to take over the world. Ravenclaw's aren't afraid of books and Hufflepuffs aren't slackers! Be true to your house I can't stress this enough!
Owl, Cat, Rat, or Toad
You own an owl, a cat, a rat, or a toad. Nothing else! Remember the Hogwarts rules. That is all you can have. You can have a pet monkey at home for all I care, but not at school!
Brooms
If you're rich you can have a top of the line fancy broom. If your just an average family, stick with the average broom! You're not all rich!
Wealth
You're not all rich either. If you're a pureblood you've got a great chance of being rich, but just because you're a pureblood doesn't mean you have to be rich. Mix it up a little people!
Orphanage
Hogwarts is not an orphanage, no one's parent's were killed by Voldemort unless they are an adult! Even then I don't want to hear a whole bunch about it. But if you're in Hogwarts your parent's were not killed by Voldemort, chances are they are alive!
Learning
You do not know everything. If you're a fifth year, you only know fifth year curses, jinxes, spells, charms. Anything. You only know up to your year level. Yes you may have been taught a jinx or hex here or there from an older student but they are not taking you to their classes with them so you can learn their spells.
Wandless Magic
Doesn't happen. Thats all there is to say about it. You must use your wand to do magic.
British
Hogwarts is not having foreign exchange programs all of a sudden. If you're american your family can have moved to Britain, same with if you're French or German. You can be an adult that went to a different school but there is no foreign exchange program!
Unpredictable
That is no way to describe yourself. Actually take the time to write down a personality that is in depth.
Perfection
You're teenagers! You have acne, you have zits on you're foreheads. You don't have them all the time but you do have them. You're not perfect. And if you are we reserve the right to kill you.
Prefects
A prefect has power! They rule your tiny world. Okay thats a lie, we admins rule your tiny world. But the Prefects have power and can give you detentions so be good, around them.
Clothing
The wizarding world is not a strip club, so be decent and wear decent clothing and keep your clothes on!
No Unforgivables!
That is all I have to say on that note.
Wealth
Again you're not all wealthy. There are high class people, middle class and low class people. It's called society.
Age
Not everyone is under 40! Lets have some older people, and by the way you're not all young and beautiful. You have faults.
Repeated Rules
You must use a wand. You can only have a top of the line broom if you're rich. Have a personality.
