Rules

I trust that you understand roleplaying etiquette, so there are only a few basic rules below. Overall, the best thing to keep in mind is one’s own common sense.

[ 1 ] Jack Tar’s content is rated R
This rule is simply to give our members more freedom with their roleplays, and allow a more realistic environment. After all, we are playing sailors here XD

[ 2 ] Please be respectful
It would be appreciated if OOC disagreements were kept off of the site, and it is asked that IC animosity remain just that, IC.

[ 3 ] Do not spam
If you have a site you would like to advertise, simply message an admin about becoming an affiliate.

[ 4 ] You cannot apply as any historical figure
These figures exist as NPCs, and may be mentioned. Your character may have history with these individuals, but we would like to discourage creating relatives or in-depth relationships (though this is not prohibited).

[ 5 ] No godmoding or powerplaying
I don’t think many need to be told this, but for those who are unsure, this rule simply asks that you don’t roleplay out the actions of other characters, nor make your own character invincible or close to it. Everyone has flaws, everyone looses; it makes things far more interesting.
