RELIGION

There is no established religion per se in Kreysthahl although... one might say that the Den Folk's reverence for dragons might be termed as religious however, it is not. The closest thing to profaning the name of "God" would be the phrase, "By Firanth!", "By the Spirith!", or "By the egg!". It is tantamount to saying the phrase, "Oh my god!"

MARRIAGE

The sanctity of marriage is still held by the Tree and Guild Folks. In addition, it is frowned upon by the society if a female of marriageable age, sixteen Cycles, has premarital sex. Not only that, but most females of marriageable age especialy the Tree Heirs, are not even given the choice of husbands but rather a marriage is arranged for them by their parents or someone with authority over them.

However, Rider and Den Folks on the otherhand do not practice such... antiquated dealings since most relationships in the Den is influenced by the dragon's choice for a mate or a dragon's mating flight. Things usually happen during mating flights that the Rider and Den Folk take for granted but would normally be frowned upon by society at large.

WOMEN'S RIGHTS

Most women of the Tree and Guild Folk usually hold ranks that a woman may hold such as Lady, Headwoman, Cook, Weaver, or Drudge. The women are usually raised to be mothers with the skills such as sewing, cooking, weaving, etc. that would help maintain her household. They are usually not part of the decision making process except for matters of the house and hearth.

Women of the Rider and Den Folk have the right to be as active as men and are allowed to have a say in matters pertaining to the Den if they are in the position to voice their opinions.
