Merovech is a secret place. Always there and yet always forgotten. It's not listed on maps and yet incredibly easy to find. Wander along a beaten path, follow the grooves of the horse hooves. There you will find a looming castle and a flourishing city with its own dark secrets to hide. Hidden back with rolling hills, plentiful farmlands, and the greenest of plains. The out skirts of the town is surrounded by a dark forest that even the bravest of the knights won't go in. The royal family are quick to lash out on visitors if they don't meet expectations. Merovech is sickly sweet and those you meet will burn into your memory until your dying day. Similar to every other village you could see, holding a rich group of people and also having its scum of poor.
It is said that once you find this place if you ever wish to leave you won't happen upon it again. Legend has it the evil is alive in this town and craves for more. So the town itself actually moves, changes location as quick as it can. Whenever you visit and its almost always once, you feel the poor despairing souls that have met their death here. The town has a dark oozing feel of negative energy and yet has such a haunting beauty that it stays so well together. No matter what, you arrive in this town perhaps a poor beggar or a rich swordsman and your life will forever change. You can be grabbed and taken off the streets violently. Thrown into a world you've never known. Or you can crush the weak and climb the ladder of success and riches, maybe make a harem or two?
