The Talent gives Ostensia's people the ability to communicate with animals, but there are some that abuse said power. Sage Fagan has gone rogue and begun teaching his pupils sage secrets. Meanwhile, Sage Matthiae is desperately trying to make contact with Sage Kyna, but to no avail. She seemed to have vanished into thin air. Where is she when Ostensia needs her the most?

The king is rumored to be ill, with no male heir to take his place. His mistress is trying desperately hard, but the queen seems to have turned reclusive. Ruval, a king’s favorite, has always had his sights set on the throne and his patience is wearing thin. His sister Chianna seems to have something up her sleeve, too. All of a sudden, it seems that the royal court is filled with malicious gossip...

Ostensia’s main frame seems to be collapsing in on itself. In this struggle for control, which side will you join?
