The year is 613, the expedition to find a cure of the King of Ostensia failed and the King has passed with no male heir to take the throne. The Queen is reclusive and has not shown her face in public for some time. The eldest daughter was brutally murdeded by no other than the most questionable member of the Council. After her sister's death the second daughter becomes the only eligible heir. She can not rule by herself but her chosen husband can... With no one yet able to take the crown, a council of three members of the noble court have stepped up to rule in the stead of a king. These three members of the court were greatly trusted by the king, but it is yet to be seen whether that trust was well placed and what the true intentions of the individual council members are. As time has shown the third member has betrayed the peoples trust and murdered the eldest princess. The two remaining members are all that is left to rule a very troubled land. Duke Malhari of Shadesburne has announced his engagement to the sole princess of Avenberry, Biacasta. Their wedding and coronation will be done simultaneously in a mere months time. What will this big event hold? The fate of the Three Sages has taken a drastic turn for the worst. Fagan has gone rogue, teaching his pupils secrets belonging only to the sages and building his own army of whisperers. Sage Matthiae, who replaced Flynn, remains hidden from the world, few people knowing that he even exists. Kyna's body was discovered shortly after her disappearance, and it was determined that she had no apprentice that her powers could be left to. And what of the mysterious Elves? The Queen of the Elves has begun to make appearances outside of the castle. Their Oracle, however, has seemingly disappeared since she left her temple in Aralia without the permission of her King and Queen. The disappearance of the Oracle is a dangerous thing for both humans and elves, for if she were to fall into the wrong hands, her powers could be used to bring destruction to Ostensia. The citizens of Ostensia face a time of political unrest and upheaval. You must decide, will you join Fagan's side, as he rises to power? Or stand against him? Will you rise on your own and try to take the throne for yourself? Or perhaps you might go about your life without concerning yourself with politics. The choice is yours. |
