In Character

1. Please keep RP in third person past tense.

2. No power playing or god moding. This can be difficult during battles but please try to keep these to a minimum. God moding is having an invincible character, power playing is controlling a character that is not your own.

3. Life happens and that is understandable, please put warnings on any adult content pages.

4. Swearing happens keep it to a minimum, no need to be cussing every other word.

5. No one is perfect at spelling or grammar but please try. No chat speak please and thank you.

6. Some cannon clans are accepted, please look at the cannon page for more info. Please note that clans on the clan page will always be from their place of origin. Cannon Clans are a privilege, if we find that people are abusing them this privilege will be revoked.

7. No one is invincible, sorry. That means no perfect character. No Gary Stus and Mary Sues.

8. No adding any more weapons, jutsu, etc...without first consulting with the admin. That is don't simply go about adding what you like when you like, no one is perfect and no one knows all the jutsu.

9. There is importance in the details, read a post carefully before you reply. As the minimum post length is two short paragraphs. It is best to attempt a mirror post (I know this is hard at times).

9.5. Just to scare n00bs into reading the content, you'll find a password box on the application. In that box just indicate that there isn't actually a passowrd, and that you didn't fall for the n00b trap. P.S., this isn't actually a rule. PLEASE FINISH READING THE RULES ANYWAYS!!!!

10. Names. Names MUST be Japanese (or at the least sounding Japanese). They also must be written properly. Last name comes before first name. For example: Watanabe Nami. Nami is her first name. Watanabe is her last. Make sense? If you are making up a name remember what type of sounds are available as well “L” is written as “R” and pronounced as a combination of the two letters.

11. Original/made-up kekkei genkai... we've had so many of these, that this rule here is actually quite new. DO NOT APPLY WITH A MADE-UP KEKKEI GENKAI. And DO NOT PANIC after reading that; you CAN still have one, just be patient and finish reading this rule. Do not apply with one. Just let us know that you want one, and, when you're accepted, go to the forums and find Kekkei Genkai board in the OOC section. Here you can apply for the kekkei genkai. If yours is similar to an existing kekkei genkai, we might make you go with that one, or make yours a branch of that one. As well, if yours is more of a jutsu-passed-down-through-the-family kind of thing, we will discuss the posibility of your character just having specialized jutsu instead. Don't be afraid; we rarely turn down your wonderful made-up/original stuff. We're very nice people. <3

The NEW Uchiha Rule:

The new Uchiha clan is going to be base off in Kusagakure. After the ordeal of Sasuke, Madara, and Danzou. Sasuke relocated the clan in secret in the village. The Uchiha characters will be strictly from Kusagakure, as there will be no missing ninja from the Uchiha clan or Akatsuki members until the Admins agree to it. When applying for a Uchiha character be warn your Uchiha will not automatically start off with the Three Tomeo Sharingans. They may and may not developed the Mangekyo Sharingan as their story progress on the site. All Uchiha applications with be looked at by Aburame Ayako, if you have any questions please feel free to PM all questions to her.

Out of Character

1. Fights in character will not be tolerated out of character. What happens in character, stays in character. Be respectful of your fellow RPers. We are all here to have fun, enjoy ourselves, and forget our real lives (…maybe that’s just me). Harassment of members or admin will not be tolerated. If you have a grievance, file it to one of the admin.

2. If you want to contact an Admin go ahead, but be polite and patient. We have lives too.

3. We all have our real lives, and shit happens, but please try to log on and post regularly.

4. Contrary to popular belief the admin aren’t cannibals, we won’t eat you if you talk to use (promise). Have a question ask, we will get back to you as soon as possible.

5. Your leaving? Oh no! Please tell us in the away board so that if we go on purges we don’t get ride of your character!

6. How to contact and Admin/Mod and which ones to contact: The site creators are indicated by "+" on either side of their rank. These are the people you want to contact if you have any Naruto specific questions, to get your weapons/jutsu approved,moving of boards, general information etc... they are generally just here to make sure things are running smoothly. If you feel free to contact any of us through either the PM system of the OOC appropriate board. If the admin/mod is unable to answer your question it will be passed on to the appropriate authority. Keep in mind that we are all in this to have fun and to learn and even we have to look things up. (shocking I know!)

7. Read the announcements and the news items (announcements are in the announcement board, the news items are on the home page) we (the admin) are not going to be responsible for you missing vital information because you can't read.

8. Sometimes the admin will accept a character because OVER ALL it is most excellent, but there may be some minor issue (such as having a jutsu that is too powerful for the rank, or maybe some other minor problem) since the admin can not edit your character, we may send you an PM asking you about why you have something AFTER YOU JOIN. Please don't be insulted or hurt if we ask you to remove something, we aren't going to decline your application just because you put an S rank jutsu down for your genin, but we MAY ask you to remove after you join. Thank you.
