I know you don't like rules; no one does, they're kind of restricting. Most of ours are common Roleplay Laws, so they aren't hard to follow. There are a few restrictions on each profession, but they are few and agian, easy to follow.

in general::.
.respect everyone- don't do anything that would purposely inhibit their enjoyment of roleplaying
.staff's word is law
.god-moding and power-playing are not acceptable
.swearing is acceptable, but only in-character. please use your own judgement for what is 'too much' profanity

for your character::.
.you cannot be a pokémorph. this is biologically impossible, and just generally annoying
.what happens in-character, stays in character. if my character hates yours, it doesn't mean I hate you :3
.romance is fine, but please mark your topic with an [M] if it goes beyond that. really graphic stuff is gross, and should go into messaging if you must.
.you need to be an agent to carry a gun

for your pokémon::.
.there are four levels of pokémon: Low-level, Mid-Level, High-Level and Max-Level. Pokémon fresh from the lab are Low-Level. A senior trainer may have High-Level pokémon, but not Max-level; you have to earn that through battling.
.a senior trainer may have any kind of pokémon except a rare. (Mewtwo, Mew, all those fun ones)
.a pokémon can only evolve once per level- so you can't have an Evo3 Low-Level pokémon, that pokémon would have to be High-Level.
