Rules
In Character1. No power-playing, or playing another person’s character. This usually happens while fighting. It is not your choice how another character is injured or hurt by a punch or power you throw at them. Only the character that is being attacked has the authority to say how injured or hurt they are, besides an admin.
2. No god-moding or acting all god-like. In other words, your not invincible, you have weaknesses, which, is both personality flaws, and power weaknesses.
3. I absolutely hate it when I post a lengthy post, and the person I’m role-playing with replies with a dinky paragraph or two that took no time at all to think of, that was made up in haste! So, the rule is post at least the same length as whoever you are role-playing with. If they give you four paragraphs, at least try to get three. There will be the small occasion where you cannot think of anything, and that will be alright. Just don’t do it often, or you’ll get a warning. Remember, three strikes and you’re out.
4. I cannot stand someone giving me a measly little sentence to reply to. In fact, I’m sure everyone hates having to reply to a small post. One sentence posts are crap! We do not accept crap at this site. So, there will be no one liner sentences here. In fact, the minimum posting length is
5. Also, I’m a very big fan of description. I want to be able to see what your character is doing in my mind. Like I’m reading a story that my own character is a part of. This does not mean that your posts have to be excessively long, it just means that I’d like a bit more detail to your posts. I don’t just want your character, Bill, to go to the bank to get money to go to the movies. I want you to describe Bill’s attire, what he’s doing at the bank, and why he desires to go to the movies. Now, this can be put up in a few fairly simple sentences or it can be done lengthy, as long as you follow the rules I do not care. I just like description. Description is our best friend!
6. The types of mutants page is only a brief description of what mutants with these types of powers can do. I do not want applications that just have a copy and paste brief description of the power you want your character to have. I want to know what your character can do so far, and what it cannot do. I want to know your character’s power weaknesses. I want description. Remember, description is your best friend!
7. Upon joining a thread that already contains two people you must get permission to join the rp from both people that are in the thread. This does not apply to plot-based threads that would otherwise include more than two characters.
Out of Character
2. Don't bring IC into OOC. In other words, if your character is mad at Bill for stealing Megan away from your character Bob don't bring it into OOC. The person who plays Bill is not the same person as their Bill character. There is no reason to bring IC fights into OOC. In fact, if I see it, you will get a warning.
3. Swearing is allowed in both OOC and IC. In fact, I use it so often that I'll use it before even realizing it.
4. Do not harass other members or admins, you'll get a warning if you do this.
5. Respect the admins and moderators.
