Rules for character creation/development:

While it is true that most of the characters in the show are highly intelligent with a myriad of special talents, etc, remember that at the same time, they all are well-rounded characters with plenty of faults as well. If you create your own character, your character must not be perfect. Be realistic.

No, I repeat, NO characters with “special abilites” will be accepted. Special abilities include but are not limited to: being able to change into different animals/forms, becoming invisible, never dying or getting sick, super vision, flying, knowing everything (or just about everything), knowing the future, etc.

Also, keep in mind that the SGC is a military operation. So most characters ought to be military (predominately Air Force), but civilian characters are of course welcome as long as they have some sort of reason to be involved with the program (for example: Daniel Jackson is a highly educated Archaeologist and Rodney McKay is a highly skilled Theoretical Physicist). Also, there is very limited room for alien involvement (meaing Tok’ra or Jaffa)..

Rules for posting:

RULE NUMBER ONE!!!!!!!
There is absolutely NO godmoding! That means that you may not control any characters actions but you own, NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

RPG posts should be made in third person, past tense. Please try to make each post at least a paragraph and use decent grammar.

Example: General Hammond walked into the SGC briefing room and took his usual seat at the head of the table. He looked around the table at the SG team waiting to be briefed. Everyone was seated except for Major Carter, who Hammond had asked to explain the situation. He decided to begin, “Okay, as soon as Major Carter arrives she will provide you with the details you will need for your next mission.”

I shouldn’t have to say anything, but I do. Please keep swearing/sexual content to a minimum, keep it PG-13.

-Have fun!

If you have any questions please send a message to George S. Hammond if you are a member or send an email to live2rp@yahoo.com
