Thy Kingdom

As your sight sets upon this unfamiliar terrain for the first time, you smile. Standing atop a rim that lines the beach, you can see the whole island. The majestic waterfalls echo their tunes back to your awaiting ears. The desert off in the distance glows golden under the sun's rays. The rush of waves at your back make you turn in time to see the cove nestled along the shores. The plains stretch for miles, and the mountains offer the valleys below some recluse from the elements. But off in the distance lays a dark part of the terrain. Fleathe Wood looms, covering an extremely large plot of dirt. Many do not enter there. Some dare to say that it is haunted. You can't help but wonder as you make your way into The Hollow.

Laws of the Lands

.:Claiming:.
1. Only stallions are allowed to lead a herd and claim mares, unless they are the Lead Mare.
2. Stallions are to claim only at the claiming grounds. However, a light mare can be forced to follow a dark stallion without her consent.
3. Foals cannot be claimed. Only adopted by a mare into the herd.
4. Stallions can claim land only in herd lands and in any herd land but the Alpha's lands .
5. No mare but the Queen may lead a herd without a stallion.
6. If you already have a herd, you cannot claim another territory and move the herd there.
7. Each person is only allowed to have 2 herd leading stallions. This makes it fair to the other RPers.

.:Stealing:.
1. Stealing of mares and herd lands are allowed. However, you may only steal mares from the Lead, Alpha, and Beta stallions, not their lands however, their leading mares are out of bounds as well.
2. You can only have 2 steal attempts per week.
3. If you're going on vacation, post at the Absent board stating when you'll be back and your herd will be safe.
4. If you already have a herdland, you may not steal another stallion's land.
5. Please we ask that you don't use another stallion to do your work for you such as, "I'm stealing so and so" and then give them to another stallion. It's not fair to the other stallion.
6. Only stallions may steal, unless they are Queen.

.:Adoption:.
1. Only mares may adopt.
2. Foals may go to the Adoption Stream to be adopted, but they can be adopted anywhere!
3. A herdless mare may adopt a foal, but she must find a herd within one season or the foal will be taken away.

.:Breeding & Birthing:.
1. Do not breed off season. [B&B Season is Spring to early Summer, watch the news for this.]
2. Mate only in the Mating Grounds and give birth only in the Foaling Grounds. If the mare fails to post the birth of the foal during the season, then the foal is born a stillborn.
3. A mare may not mate the same year that she gives birth.
4. A mare who belongs in a herd, though isn't a must not, should not breed with another stallion but her own herd leading one. If she does, when the foal is born, her true lead stallion is allowed to kill the foal.
5. Do not bug the admins for twins. Twins are selected by the Admins at the beginning of spring and are given to those who they think deserve them. One set for the lights and one set for the darks.
6. A mare who is pregnant with a foal sired by a stallion not of this site, she may choose whatever color and breed she wants for the foal and give birth outside the lands. However, mares who carry the foals of the stallions from this site may not give birth outside the lands and must wait for the next spring.
7. Rapings are allowed unless it is for a plot and the thread is designated as Reserved.

.:Fighting:.
1. When fighting, do not over power play or god mode.
2. Do not put your opponent in a state where there is no way for him/her to escape. eg1: Fully paralyzing (at least leave the opponent with one left means of defense like bite.) eg2: Knocking opponent out (come on, if that's allowed, then everyone's first attack will be 'kicks him in the head, knocking him out...')
3. Do not kill another person's character unless you've got permission.

.:Posting:.
1. You must have at least 5 rows of words in your posts. Any post with less will be first be warned about then deleted if it continues.
2. While you cannot post tiny, short, miniature posts, please try not to post huge, titanic posts with torrents of words as if you were writing a chapter of a storybook.
3. Only RP in English. No other languages are to be used.
4. In a fight, if your opponent does not post within 5 days without a note saying that they won't be available or something, then you win by default. (Sorry, but not answering to a post is how some people find a way out.)

.:Others:.
1. If you want to RP on a character, make sure that the account has been created. We do not want any non-existent characters.
2. Do not hack into another person's character!
3. Once you kill off your character, it is gone! Do not do any ghosts!
