After I have applied, and able to log-in do I automatically receive and element?

• No, and here is why: There are two different elements within each pack. The elements only work if a wolf is a member of a specific pack. (i.e: Hache Hi is Ground and Steel, so the wolf has a choice between Ground or Steel. ) But with every element given, each individual must undergo a three day trial of immense pain. ( 3 OOC days ). The first day is not as bad as the other two, but it is still painful for the wolf. This pain is to test the Physical and Metal strength of the wolf to see if they are capable of being able to wield it. If they are unable, the wolf is sentenced to death. If they survive they will be under constant instant care by any of the healers, depending upon the pack. ( if there is not healer in the residing pack they will be sent to another pack in need of the precise attention. )
What can my wolf look like?

• Your wolf needs to look like a wolf. How ever, we do not allow Maned Wolves or Dire wolves. (Maned wolves are of their own species and Dire wolves are extinct.) Your wolf can have what ever colored eyes you wish to have. They can be blind, or what have you. It does not matter. The color color varies. You are allowed to manipulate the appearance of your wolf. I just don’t want to see a pink and purple polk-a-dotted wolf running about. That’s ... that’s creepy. But you can go how ever. (brindle, ect... with any tint or hue added)
• No mutations allowed. (i.e No lava, no horns, no extra tails, no wings... ect.)
Am I able to fight other wolves?

• That depends to be honest. If you want to do compete for something ( rank... ect. ) That is to be granted only through permission of the admin. If it is for revenge, rape, competition or training, that is free-form. Have at it. Just make sure you abide by the rules ( Not God-modeling, Power playing ect. ) When the fight is over, PM and admin and it will then be judged by three of the admin or three other users.
Can my wolf kill other wolves?

• You need a really, really, REALLY good reason. Your wolf may be all big and bad and a past known killer ( which is awesome ) but you can’t just walk up to another wolf and kill them right then and there for no reason. You need a descent explanation. Contact the admin if you have any questions.
Can I draw my wolf?

• You can, but it cannot be displayed as your main picture. You can use it in your postscripts if you’d like but we highly encourage you not to have set as your main image. Feel free to decorate your account page how ever you wish though.

1. ) Level of Roleplay:
• Grammar has never been an issue here as long as someone is able to respond ( and that your post makes some sense) But we advise you to check your spelling. Trying typing up your post on Microsoft word or what ever word program you have. We are spawning to the at the least and advance roleplay. But Try to have fun and don’t think of this as your English class :)
2.) Age Group:
• The youngest we have here in Raynes is probably 15 or 16, the oldest 20 or so. We wish to keep it at that. I’d say I would give this site a rating of PG-13 and perhaps up a step but that's about it. If there is intense graphic material (i.e. mating, violence ... ect. ) please make the notification within your thread and or topic of the thread to warn other roleplayers. Not everyone likes surprises. If you have to, feel free to make it private. We do allow private threads.
3.) Appearance & Personality:
• Raynes is a Fantasy and elemental wolf roleplay. How ever, there are no wings, or any sort of mutation allowed with in the site of Raynes. Nor do I want to see a pink and purple-polka dotted wolf running about either. That is just creepy. Feel free to let your mind explore beyond your imagination. Have fun with the appearance of your wolf. But don’t go extremely over board :) Eye colors can be what ever you please.
• With that stated. No one is perfect. No character is perfect ( for you, perhaps :) ) Not every wolf has to be the prettiest thing on the face of this planet either. Hell, we’d love to see something different. They can be as ugly or as pretty as you want. Fluffy for some fat as well 8D Bring it on!
• Personality: Want to wreck some havoc? Bring insane chaos? We’d love it! Not everyone is the sweet, pretty goodie-two shoes. We frown up that if we see way too much of it. We like big and bad. We love plots. We love to hear them. So bring it!
4.) Posting:
• In Raynes, the required posting length (minimum) is one and a half ( 1.5 ) to two (2.0) paragraphs. You may post in First or third person. It is your choice. Just be in mind of other rules, (no God Modeling, ect. )
• Postscripts are allowed! The maximum width we allow is at least 550 width.
• Swearing and so forth: Everyone swears, and it’s bound to slip. How ever, we don’t want to hear the “F-bomb” to be thrown out every three words and such. Some words may be offensive to other people. ( “GD” mostly. ) please be respectful to those around you. If you want to be respected you need to show it as well. If you feel there is a problem between you and another, or more please inform the admin and don’t deal with it yourself. It’s bound to turn into drama and Drama is a load of shit to.. Raynes is drama free. Don’t be the cause to start something up, because you’re digging yourself a hole already.
5. ) RESPECT:
• Like stated before, respect others the way you wish to be respected. If you don’t want respect, then I’m sorry you are not cut for Raynes.
• EVERYONE has a different eye on how religion is looked at. Do not be a hypocrite, do not discriminate for someone’s beliefs. Religion can be discussed within the General Chat/Advice area... if questions ever pop up. Don’t think yours is all high and mighty and don’t shun people for not believing the same way you believe. Everyone here is diverse. I can already tell you that now. BE NICE.
• Be accepting upon others choices, as well as religion, not everyone is going to think the same way, believe the same way or act the same way. Not everyone in this entire universe is going to be straight. Not everyone is going to have a “straight” character, why? Its different. Different is good. We welcome everyone. As long as you are not a 30 year old creeper, your good. <3
6.) Plots & Ideas:
• WE LOVE PLOTS.
• Plot ideas are always welcome. Make sure it stays within the guidelines. ( i.e No planning relationships, ect. ) And make sure it makes sense. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A STUPID IDEA
• If you have a constructive idea that you may think that helps Raynes out; PM Okie (me ) if you are already are a member or have applied and your account has been submitted. I am most likely to discuss it with my admin team and see what they think. If it doesn’t go through, don’t feel bad if it gets rejected. Keep splurging out ideas. Please.
• .... WE LOVE PLOTS.
7.) When in Roleplay:
These are some of the basic rules, and everyone should know them if you have roleplayed before on other places and sites.
• Do not God-Model, Power Play, and so forth. - No one is perfect, eventually your wolf will die of what ever it dies of.
• Do not plan mating relationships - Mate planning is the most ridiculous thing that could have possibly ever been made. Mate Planning is STRICTLY forbidden.
• No, you cannot ask for admin - Not even for a s econd. The admin team have been given out to and they are very nice people. If you have a question about something or need something changed, ask an admin.
• Be conscious of what is going on - make sure your post flows with the person before yours. It hasn’t happened yet but you never know x3
• Activity Checks are normally held monthly. - Just to keep up with whose been active and who hasn’t. If your account accidentally gets deleted. Don’t spazz out, because if you’re angry, Okie gets frustrated. Just apply again. It’s not a big deal. Mistakes happen.
• Don’t whine, moan groan and complain - Okie does that enough, and wanders how her peeps put up with it No. Most of the time, its just people who seek attention. You won’t get it here. Unless your dog has died, or your mom is being a total bitch then we will consol. If you are complaining about something like; “Ughh.. My life sucks I shouldn’t be here...” or; “No one cares about me, I’m ugly..” .... Raynes is a “HAPPY SUNSHINE PLACE.” You will not get your way... I’m sorry. It doesn’t work like that. If you honestly have a problem and it’s got you down, Then say something but don’t drag on about it. We don’t like attention seekers. THEY ARE ANNOYING. so in other words; BE HAPPY.
8.) Account Set-up:
• When you have joined and are enabled to start and have fun, please make sure you fill out your account first please. Some people actually read these and want to know more about your character before they start roleplaying. that, and its fun. I don’t know why... it just is.
• Keep it clean and keep it neat :)
• Does not have to be a novel you’re writing but nothing too terribly short either. Just enough to know about the character, background, ect.
9.) These Rules:
• We look at them to be more like guidelines. But they are to be obeyed. Don’t think of it as if; “Oh my God there are so many! x_x “ Really, it’s not that much. We just want this to be a happy, safe and enjoyable environment to roleplay. The members here love it here. We all get a long, and we don’t pick favorites. The word “clique” is foreign here.
• Make sure, when you apply that you fill out everything. that is asked. We have both Standalone & an AcornRack Application (if you have an AR account ).
